Yes. Dog Poo Crew has been serving the Fargo-Moorhead area since 2006, making us the longest-running professional dog waste removal company in the region. We provide weekly, bi-weekly, and one-time pooper scooper services for residential customers as well as commercial dog waste management services including common area cleanings and pet waste station service throughout Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead, and surrounding communities.
For most dog owners, yes. If you have a busy schedule, kids who play in the yard, or you live somewhere with long winters like Fargo, ND, a pooper scooper service pays for itself in time and peace of mind. Dog waste left in the yard builds up fast, creates health risks for pets and children, damages grass, and becomes a major problem in spring after snow melts. A professional pet waste removal service like Dog Poo Crew keeps your yard clean and safe year round without you having to think about it.
Dog Poo Crew was founded in 2006 and has been serving the Fargo-Moorhead area with year round pooper scooper services for 20 years. We are the most experienced pet waste removal companies in the region with over 100 5 star reviews across our social media platforms and guarantee our service.
Yes. Dog Poo Crew brings all necessary supplies to every visit including bags, tools, and equipment. You don’t need to provide anything. We haul away all waste as well so you don’t have to deal with any stinky mess in your garbages.
Dog Poo Crew serves Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead, and the surrounding communities in the Fargo-Moorhead metro area. If you’re unsure whether we service your neighborhood, give us a call at 701.219.6589 or email service@dogpoocrew.com.
Most customers choose weekly service, which keeps the yard consistently clean and prevents waste and odor from building up. If you are in your yard frequently or want it as clean as possible at all times, twice-weekly service is the best option. Every other week works well for customers who are not in the yard often, spend time at a lake place, or split time between residences. Dog Poo Crew offers weekly, twice-weekly, and bi-weekly plans as well as one-time cleanups for situations where you need a fresh start.
Our routes are set up so we cover specific areas of Fargo-Moorhead on specific days. This keeps our routes efficient, which helps us keep your costs low. If you need service on a day that is outside of your area’s scheduled route day, additional fees will apply for the extra time and mileage. The same applies if you need service within a specific narrow time window.
No problem. Just let us know at least one day in advance and we will skip your visit for that week at no charge. If your dog is out of town or travelling with you we will just waive that day’s fee. If significant waste has built up by your next service due to a skip or a service gap, there may be an extra fee for the additional time required to clean it.
Yes. Dog Poo Crew offers one-time yard cleanups for customers who want a spring cleaning, fresh start, are preparing for an event, or just need a random cleanup. One-time cleanings may be rescheduled in rainy or wet weather if the ground is soft enough that foot traffic would create additional mess.
Making sure your gate is securely latched when we leave is honestly more important to us than getting every last piece of waste. A missed spot in the yard is an inconvenience. A dog that gets out is a tragedy. Our technicians double-check every latch before leaving your property. Every Dog Poo Crew service visit ends with a job completion notification sent to you by email. That email includes a photo of your latched gate so you have visual confirmation it was secured before we left. You never have to wonder.
If your gate has a padlock or keyed lock, the easiest solution is to provide us with the combination or a spare key so we can access your yard on your service day. We do send an appointment reminder the day before every visit to remind you to have your gate accessible, but having a combo or key on file means you never have to worry about being available to let us in. If you need us to come at a specific time when you are home, that is possible but additional fees apply due to the scheduling constraints involved.
No. Most of our customers are not home during their service visit. As long as we can access your yard through a gate we can open and close, you don’t need to be there. We latch your gate when we leave and send you a notification when your yard has been cleaned with an attached photo of your latched gate.
For safety reasons, we ask that dogs be kept inside during service visits unless we have already met your dog and know they are friendly. We send a text when we are on our way so you have time to bring them in before we arrive. This policy came from real experience. We have had a few close calls over the years with aggressive dogs let out while we were in the yard and we take it seriously. Once we have met your dog and know they are good with us, we are happy to have them out in the yard while we work.
Yes. Regular dog waste removal actually makes your yard safer for both kids and pets. Dog waste carries bacteria, parasites, and pathogens including E. coli, salmonella, and roundworm that can pose health risks if left in the yard. Dog Poo Crew removes all waste from your yard on a regular schedule, reducing the risk of contamination and keeping your outdoor space healthier for your family and animals.
Dog waste is not a fertilizer. It is a pollutant. It carries harmful bacteria and parasites, contaminates soil and groundwater when it breaks down, damages grass, and creates an unpleasant environment for your family and neighbors. In a climate like Fargo’s, waste also accumulates under snow all winter and can create a serious mess when spring arrives. Regular professional cleanup with Dog Poo Crew prevents all of that.
Yes. Dog Poo Crew provides pet waste pickup service year round, including throughout the North Dakota winter. We service yards in most winter weather conditions. If it snows enough to cover all the waste in yards the day or evening before your service we will be back on your next scheduled visit. Our regular customers during the winter benefit from us catching up their yard from any waste that was under on their next scheduled visit as the snow melts and waste under snow is exposed. Year-round service prevents the buildup of waste under snow and eliminates the mess that accumulates in yards every spring when the snow melts.
Yes. We work through winter weather in even the most cold conditions and pick up all waste visible on top of or accessible through snow. Winter service with Dog Poo Crew means you won’t be dealing with months of accumulated waste when spring arrives, a common and unpleasant surprise for dog owners who pause service in the cold months. We may not be able to remove waste frozen in ice but will get it removed as soon as it warms up enough to be scooped and hauled out.
We strongly recommend it. In Fargo’s climate, waste accumulates under snow all winter. When the snow melts in spring, the result is an overwhelming amount of waste that has been sitting for months. Customers who maintain year-round service with Dog Poo Crew avoid this entirely and keep their yards manageable all season.
Yes. Long grass and accumulated leaves or debris make it difficult to locate all waste in your yard. Dog Poo Crew will still do a thorough systematic cleaning and remove everything we can find, but we cannot guarantee a completely waste-free yard if grass is overgrown or there is heavy debris coverage. Keeping your yard mowed and clear helps us deliver the best results.
We clean any area of your yard where waste is present. This includes lawn areas, rock beds, and garden borders, though rock beds and certain surfaces may carry a small additional fee due to the extra time required if your dogs regularly go in those areas. If you have a deck that needs to be hosed off, we are happy to take care of that as an add-on service when a hose is available (small additional fee may apply).
We haul all collected waste away with us. It does not go in your trash or get left on your property. All waste is disposed of properly off-site.
Pricing depends on the number of dogs you have and how frequently you’d like service. Dog Poo Crew offers weekly and bi-weekly recurring plans as well as one-time cleanup pricing. Visit our pricing page for current rates, or contact us at 701.219.6589 or service@dogpoocrew.com for a quick answer.
Dog Poo Crew bills monthly in advance. Your invoice is sent on the 1st of the month prior to the service month and is due on the 1st of the service month. For example, your invoice for August service is sent July 1st and due August 1st. A $5 late fee applies if payment is not received on time, and service will be suspended if payment is not received by the 15th of the month. Payment can be made by check in the mail or online when you receive your invoice and click the link.
Dog Poo Crew averages your monthly billing across the year so you pay the same predictable amount every month regardless of how many Mondays, Tuesdays, or service days fall in a given month. Some months will have 4 Mondays, Tuesdays, etc and a few might have 5. This makes budgeting simple and keeps our invoicing consistent. Some months naturally have more or fewer service days, but your bill stays the same.
